PhD Fellowship in Environmental Materials Chemistry, Denmark

The University of Copenhagen is inviting applicants for a PhD Fellowship in Environmental Materials Chemistry. The project includes two years of research in Denmark and one year in China through the Sino-Danish University (SDC) collaboration.

To be eligible for this PhD fellowship, applicants must hold a degree equivalent to a Danish master’s degree in environmental chemistry, geochemistry, materials science, environmental engineering, or a related field. Candidates should have relevant academic and laboratory experience, particularly in experimental work and instrumental analysis.

Eligibility

Acceptable Course or Subjects: The PhD will be awarded in Environmental Chemistry, Geochemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Engineering, or Chemistry

Admissible Criteria:

Hold a degree equivalent to a Danish master’s (180 ECTS BSc + 120 ECTS MSc)

Academic background in environmental chemistry, geochemistry, materials science, or related fields

Prior experience in laboratory/instrumental analysis and environmental materials characterization is an asset

Proficiency in English

Curiosity and motivation to engage in cross-disciplinary research
