To be eligible for the RTP or DUPR scholarships at Deakin University, applicants must be domestic or international students enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program. They should have completed at least four years of tertiary education with a strong academic record, particularly in research.

Eligibility
- Eligible Countries:Â All nationalities
- Acceptable Course or Subjects:Â The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by Deakin University at the graduate research level.
- Admissible Criteria:Â To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be enrolled or intending to enroll in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at Deakin University.
- Have completed at least four years of tertiary education.
- Achieved at least 80% in the research component of their previous studies, or possess equivalent qualifications/experience.
- Not be receiving an equivalent scholarship from the Commonwealth to offset tuition fees.
- Not be receiving income greater than 75% of the RTP/DUPRS stipend for general living costs during the course of study.
- Meet all entry requirements as per Deakin’s HDR Admission, Selection and Enrolment Procedure.
- Currently enrolled HDR students may apply, but not if they have completed more than three years (PhD) or two years (Masters) of their course.
